"Where Are They ?"

SYNOPSIS: This episode contains two stories about strange appearances and disappearances. The first
occurs in the small town of Chico, California when a man claims credit for a rock storm that falls from the
sky daily -- then disappears. In the second, a man flaunts his miraculous invention: a pellet that can cheaply
transform water into gasoline. He too suddenly disappears, never to be heard from again.

COMMENTARY: Briefly adopting a different format (two stories per half hour), this episode manages to
be pretty creepy. One possible explanation for the unusual events in each story involves people from the
future using sophisticated technology . . .
