SYNOPSIS: While on vacation on an out-of-the-way tropical island, host John Newland is approached by
a retired islander who has a strange story to share: a bitter, disillusioned man named Wilson once met and
fell hopelessly in love with Delia, a girl he felt he had been destined to meet (and love) all of his life. Then
Delia vanished and Wilson's desperate search for her began, ending in an unexpected resolution.

COMMENTARY: Newland again transcends his role of TV host and narrator by interacting with the dramatis
personae
in this episode. He listens intently as an islander describes a tale of tragic love, in which Phillip
Wilson had fallen in love with a young woman who disappeared mysteriously after one fateful meeting . . .
