SYNOPSIS: A navy pharmacist's mate serving in the Pacific in World War II is shattered when his pacifist
physician brother is killed in action. When the commander of his ship is badly injured in combat, Harris
must overcome his crisis of faith and perform surgery. At a critical moment in the procedure, Harris -- a
medical novice -- is assisted by the voice of a dead man.
