SYNOPSIS: In 1901 an 11-year-old aspiring ballerina is paralyzed by a frightening vision that a chandelier
in her home will suddenly fall from its perch and kill her. As a result of her terrible experience, young Lisa
stays away from the chandelier room for ten long years, until the very day of her engagement. No calamity
occurs on that day and Lisa's vision is forgotten until her granddaughter's coming out party occurs in the room.

COMMENTARY: In "The Premonition", surely one of the best of One Step Beyond's first season, a young
girl dances rapidly in a circle below a chandelier and experiences a frightening premonition about a future
calamity. Though the episode primarily concerns that heart-stopping vision of the future . . .
